We’re all challenged in life through various trials and distresses from time to time, but it’s only for our good and for us to grow in true Faith. God has used certain disciplines and hardships to change and mold His character more and more into my life these last few years. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it. Having the absolute confidence of knowing we’re a spiritual son of God is what develops in those who will listen and follow. The overall outcome is full of joy!
How about you my friend? Are you facing challenges? How are you looking at them, as an obstacle never to overcome or a stair step of Faith? Have you noticed growth in your life? Do you see change for good? Are you allowing the Spirit to conform you into His image? I believe this message will encourage you to continue the process of being transformed more and more into that man we all desire.
Through ups and downs in life the challenge is learning to live and speak by Faith. Continually thinking and talking about hurtful situations or past failures will accomplish nothing. The Bible says that the key to change anything is faith. To change a circumstance, it takes faith, to change ones conduct, it takes faith, to change anything in life, it takes some faith.
Jesus said:
“According to your faith it will be done to you.” – Matt. 9:29
That is a very simple, yet very profound statement. “According to YOUR FAITH WORDS it will be done to you.” That means we get out of life pretty much what we expect.
Do you expect Heaven when your body gives up? To be there, Faith must be appropriated by speaking and acknowledging what Jesus Christ did on the cross for us when He destroyed sin. What do you expect to happen in your physical life this year? If you answer, “nothing much” then don’t expect much to happen in 2013.
We can know if we have the God-kind of Faith for any situation by the words we speak. FAITH works through WORDS. Doubt filled words or Faith filled words prove who we are, what we believe, where we’re going and what we expect from life and beyond. Our faith is ALWAYS WORKING — either for us with Faith filled Words or against us with Doubt filled Words!
Jesus said,
“By your Words you will be justified and by your Words you will be condemned.” – Matt. 12:37
The person who SAYS, “I can!” and the person who SAYS, “I can’t!” are both right. The principle action of faith is, Words! “According to YOUR FAITH it will be done to you.”
The first words out of our mouth when facing a mountain in life should be, “I don’t care what it looks like and I don’t care what it feels like. I know in whom I have believed. He is able to keep me and bring me through any situation victorious?” Every mountain must be seen as an opportunity for growth.
We must guard our thoughts and words. Never say things like “I’m a victim, life is so unfair or I hate that person, I can’t believe what they did to me.” Of course life is unfair. People will disappoint us and hurt us, but life goes on anyway. Who said it was fair? This is a world filled with sin and injustice and because of that, life is unfair. The pity parties, the anger and rehearsing of the past should stop. This will only lead to a faint heart, instead of a Faith filled heart!
We’re going to make some mistakes, but God loves you and He will forgive you immediately. Just acknowledge whatever fault to Him, forgive yourself, forgive others and press on in Faith. Time spent in regret is time wasted in 2013. Focus on the future with vigor and hope, saying “I can do all things, I’m victorious through Christ Jesus who loves me.” Learn from the failures, but focus on the future with Faith in God. “According to your faith it will be done unto you.”

Where do you need to act in faith today? Where do you need to take steps of faith to start over or finish a project today? Faith is always ready, because Faith is NOW, Faith is today. Begin speaking Faith Filled Words NOW.
Focus your eye on the Author of Faith, Jesus Christ and run the race strong to the finish by speaking Faith filled Words. Call upon Him today to touch you for eternity and change you into His Image. I encourage you to find a Church that teaches the life giving message of true Faith and how to us it!
Join me by continually believing and saying, “Great things are destined for my life this year and for years to come. I’m going to do great things for God and great things for myself. I am a victor, not a victim, I am forgiven, I am righteous, I am holy, I am pure, because Jesus Christ my Lord lives through me. He is my life!”
